The Las Vegas City Council

I have served as your City Council representative since you first elected me in 2005. As your councilman, I work with the city manager to allocate resources and maintain important parts of our community such as parks, fire stations, police stations, recreation centers, and senior centers.

I also serve or have served on various local and regional committees, including the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Repository Committee, the Las Vegas Housing Authority, the Southern Nevada Workforce Investment Board, the Regional Transportation Commission, the Regional Flood Control Board, the Nevada League of Cities, and the Southern Nevada Health District.

The City Council also makes decisions on master plan amendments, zoning changes, variances zoning requirements, and business licenses. I enjoy my work and take pride in what we’ve been able to accomplish in Las Vegas and Ward 6.
