"Steve Ross kept his word to May Elementary School students by racing his donkey backwards. He challenged the students to beat last year's record of 10,000 books read, saying he would race the school principal on donkeys if they did. They met his challenge and read 35,000 books. Ross is a frequent visitor to schools in Ward 6."
